 Introductory paper for the establishment 

 The Moroccan Association of Flying Disc is the first official national association for flying disc sports in Morocco and North Africa. It was established on Safar 16, 1434 AH (December 30, 2012), in accordance with the Public Freedoms Declaration of November 15, 1958. Since 2015, it has been a proud member of the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF).

As the pioneer association in North Africa, the Moroccan Flying Disc Association aims to introduce, promote, and teach the sport of flying disc—especially Ultimate Frisbee—to the wider community.

The idea to establish Morocco’s first association dedicated to disc sports originated with the founding president, Mr. Youness Benbrahim, who envisioned this since early 2003. However, the official foundation only came to fruition in 2012.

The president’s introduction to the sport is credited to Mr. Achraf Kassami, who invited him between 2000 and 2001 to participate in frisbee games between Moroccan and American players held in Bab Jdid, Marrakech.

This association marks a significant milestone in developing flying disc sports within the Kingdom of Morocco, formalizing the practice and organization of the game nationally.
