First Girls’ Flying Disc Workshop – 2013
Organized by the Moroccan Flying Disc Association (MFDA)
As part of its ongoing annual program and in line with its mission to promote flying disc sports in Morocco, the Moroccan Flying Disc Association (MFDA) organized its first workshop dedicated to girls on February 1st, 2013.
The event included both a demonstration and a training session, specifically designed for students from a private school. A total of 37 schoolgirls, from both secondary and preparatory levels, participated in this exciting introduction to the sport.
The workshop was led by Coach Youness Benbrahim, Nazih Ezzammouri, and Dr. Bouchra Lachkar, who brought their expertise, energy, and enthusiasm to the field—creating a dynamic and educational experience for all participants.
This initiative highlights MFDA’s commitment to inclusivity and youth development, and reflects its ongoing efforts to empower girls through sport.
